Few performers have had as stirring an impact as Jamie Foxx has had this whole year. He has stunned and amazed millions. And continues to do so.

First, he shocked almost everyone with his masterful portrayal of Ray Charles in Ray and his Academy Award for best actor, only the fourth Black performer to reach that status.

He followed that up with the recently released hit film Jarhead, in which he plays Staff Sergeant Sykes, a dedicated military officer hell-bent on getting his troops ready for the first Gulf War in the early 1990s.

He also stars as Lt. Henry Purcell in Stealth, an action drama about pilots struggling to rein in an artificial intelligence program that's out of control and could lead to another world war.

And now, Foxx, 37, is set to release Unpredictable, his second album in 11 years. He calls the CD "the fulfillment of a lifelong dream."

The CD shows the depth of the talent that fans saw on Ray and heard when he was featured on Kanye West's single Gold Digger. The CD has guest appearances by West, Mary J. Blige, Pharrell Williams, Ludacris and Twista. It is set to hit stores before Christmas.(Continue Reading)
