During the week she worked in a factory, but whenever she could steal away, she loved to don her jewelry. When she passed away, I received some of her favorite pieces. I stored them away in little white boxes until one day.... [ILLUSTRATION OMITTED] When I found papier-mache book boxes at the craft store, I had to have them. So, I bought a set of three graduated sizes and stored them away until one day.... One day I needed a wedding shower gift for Ted, a friend at work. What do you give a man that isn't too frou-frou for him but romantic enough for the both of them? Since we had collected money throughout the office for a gift certificate, I decided to supply the gift box. I took down one of the book boxes from its shelf and painted, papered and decorated it.
